Big waves here I come!
In about 14 hours I’ll start my travels for this summer to ‘big wave’ Canada. It actually is a long time ago I went for a playboat trip for this long. For 5,5 weeks I’ll travel around to surf the biggest waves and train for the world champs in Thun, Zwitserland. Last week has been a busy one finishing study (exams:S) and getting all my gear.
Added are some photos of the new Double Dutch Atomic paddles. It’s production only started this wednesday so it was a close call, but they look fabulous! They improved the ends of the blade and made it stronger overall. Check out: www.doubledutch.eu for more info on this paddles, which you’ll start to see more and more on the river.
I also received my new Teva helmet, which is just extremely cool. The helmet is a kids size WRSI so it fits me well with my ridiculously small head. No photos but, here’s the promise, in a few days the first blogs of our Canada trip with photos and all.
So check my website a little more then usual next weeks, as I will post a little more as well!
Cheers, Raoul
